I didn't read this in time but I happened to watch it anyway. Was it the one where the girl stands up for the Muslim woman? Even if it wasn't, I was proud of that girl.

tex:yup that was the one..but there was a better one from a guy who's son just got back from iraq and he was really pissed..he's a minister from another town..most of those people were from out of town, everyone in town goes to Snokhouse Bakery, plus we would have known he wasn't the owner..ha...

Well, dang it all to hell - I missed your debut - not home from work yet boo hoo. It sounded neat though -

Swung by your buddie's place to wish her all the best manana. We are doing a road trip to Texas in Sept - will hit my cousin's place in Glen Rose, and probably head out by way of El Paso. I lived in Fort Worth as a child - man those fire ants pack a sting, don't they?

Oh, dang it! I didn't get around to reading the blogs until just now...I would have liked to have seen West, home of my friend, Jackie Sue!

Sending lots of good wishes to Nancy!

tsduff:come to west, texas when you come...we defend muslims here...sorta..ha..I remember sitting on an ant hill as a kid..about 11, had on brand new tight blue jeans..I stipped out of them running and screaming...
hmhh:it was pretty good. We didn't look too much like racists..but they were all tourists anyhow..

I recorded it on my DVR so I haven't watched it yet. I watched Hillery and Obama fight it out on their 20th debate. First one I have gotten to watch.
I hope Nancy is OK. Have to send her all my Karma.
I wonder if the visit to town is going to be on Cops. I don't even know if that show is still on.

i think i'm gonna have a tshirt made that sez "West Texas Rocks"

I watched the show. The funny thing is I could have convinced myself that it was Ohio. It looks like we have a lot of the same types of people.
Makes me despair for the vote next week.

Maybe I can find it on-line somewhere.

I'll be thinking about your friend.....

Will add your buddy to my prayers. I know it must be a terrifying time for her and for those who know her and love her.

Prayers for Nancy.

Like several others I was remiss in not checking your post in time to watch. But I always like your version of everything better anyway, so please post details.

That was very interesting. Some people are good, some people are bad and some people are apathetic to the point of moral inertia.
Never woulda' guessed.

nitwit:i keep thinking it could have been worse..they actuall could have done that in front of some westites, instead of tourists...they don't like anyone that isn't czech..
bigPissy:if you find it on line let me know..thanks for the good thougths for nancy..
billy:of course they sell apple strudel...fresh daily...they make kolaches, cookies, breads, pies, cakes, anything you can think of..
rebecca:we have 5 bakeries, when they are all baking in the early morningins the whole place smells like yeast and it's wonderful..

sage:thanks for the good thoughts for nancy...it means so much to her..
