...but just look at what he did for Guinness sales! I love the black stuff, but I do not drink much so maybe the next time I have one a toast to all pagans will go some way to rectifying things.

I socialise and drink with a Christian, we have some good battles across the table at times, but nothing so heated that it would spoil our pints!

Happy Paddy's Day All.

Ah yes one of my least favorite holidays .... I can't even use it as a day to be proud to be Irish 'cause of the whole honoring driving the Pagans away thing

Uh-oh, I better not tell my parents that! They'll have me burnt at the stake for blasphemin'.
My brother chose Patrick as his confirmation name as he was born on St. Patrick's day.
But take heart--here in the U.S. it's mostly seen as an excuse to get lit, not as a religious holiday.

I almost missed this one. I treat him the same way I treat Santa Claus. From Santa I get presents from St. Paddy I get an excuse to consume the drink of the gods. Though I can't think why anyone would want to die it green. The trouble is it falls on the wrong day, and I only drink on my days off.
Sleepy time.

those feckin pagans should look in the mirror instead of blaming poor old saint pat for their woes.

a green milkshake sounds pretty good to me right now.

oetm:if i still drank i might not care about the christian vs pagan argument..but since i dont' drink...a pox on im..ha
I have a lot of christian friends..most of them are REAL christians and not the type that talk the talk but don't walk the walk..
kath:there are a few local christians that i'd like to bip and a bunch of them in washington...but then calling themselves a christian and acting like a war monger..doesn't make them much of a christian..hell, the irish captured him when they were raiding england and kept him for a slave for 6 years...that's how well the irish treated him...he got some vision that said to walk home so he did...then had another vision(think he was drinking some of that mulled wine/or beer) and said he was to go back to ireland and make christians out of the pagans..think it was just his way of getting even with the irish for the 6 year slave gig..
mamakelly:my family always thought we were irish..but when i started tracing our history i found out we were vikings and got thrown out of every country we ever settled down in...im still carrying on the traition..
cheesy:yeah, tell him his irish st.pat was an english man..that'll twist his knickers..
nitwit:there aren't as much candy from st.pat's holidays..lots of green buckets with leprachaun's..but no candy..and even when i drank daily i never drank green beer...ewwwwww
get some sleep...
