SURPRISE SURPRISE SURPRISE

This is Tailspin when I first saw him.
The first trip over to Jenny and Jason's house. He cracked me up and I thought he was very cute. I still had Annie. So I wasn't interested.

This is ????? on his first day at his new home. Yes...Jenny and Jason let me have him. Jenny didn't want to part with him as she had gotten attached to him(from her first feelings were 'I hate that damn cat'....)She likes her pretty things and Tailspin liked to knock every thing off into the floor and broke her vase in the bathroom. Plus with the 2 dogs he wasn't using the liter box, figuring if they used the puppy pads he could use the carpet. So he had been outside most of the time and sleeping in the garage.

This boy is the most affectionate kitteh ever..he purrs and snuggles and loves to be held and petted..as you can see..

He's into everything and adjusted way faster than I thought he would. He made the rounds of the house and sniffed and smelled and looked for the female cat that he could smell but couldn't find.

Last night was his first night for bed time..I put him in bed with me, grabbed my book and started to read..yeah, right..hard to read when ???? is laying on top of the book and chewing on your hand every time you turn the page. I was so tired..I think all the loving on him and petting him, lowered my blood pressure, stirred up my sleep genes as I was in bed for sleep before midnight..and I haven't been going down before 4am in weeks..

So I turned out the light and he got right under my neck and stuck his nose in my ear and started to purr, while kneading the pillow and me.. He was sucking on my skin, ear lobe, neck, all over..and I swear that purring...sounded like a 1928 Roadster. After about 30 minutes I decided I was never going to get any sleep if the love machine wasn't moved..so then I moved him to the other side of the bed and then he discovered my feet under the covers and my hands...finally I tossed him out of the bed. He seems to like sleeping on the dining room table..so he slept there for a while and then he'd come back and attack my neck and ear again(kitteh vampire) and I'd toss him out and he'd go back to emptying all the trash baskets and shredding all the Kleenex and paper..It looked like it had snowed when I got up this morning. So? What can I tell you..I'm fucking in love..he's a little psycho kitteh who loves attention, petting, and any and all love he can get..He sits on my lap when I'm on the computer and will walk across the key board just to say hi..I was going to name him Mr. Buttroy, but my friend Jan at Dogs and Poodles blog threw a hissy fit..She's still pissed at me for naming Asshole...Asshole...so...I'm having a contest..name the pussy...I've pretty much told you his personality...sweet, loving, playful, garbage digger, computer expert, neck sucking fluffy kitteh...so go for it..send me in some suggestions or Mr. Buttroy he'll remain..(I'll just call him mister..)

Oh I am so happy for you! COngrats..
I like Mr. buttroy..but Little Fucker is a nice name too...although you will use that as a default anyways.

I'm kind of partial to the name ???.

I like "Mr. Buttroy" too. He's obviously a real going concern, so he'll be a handful and will get into all sorts of trouble. "Mr. Buttroy" will probably just fit the bill! And I'm glad he'll be there to keep you in line!

I think Natural Disaster is a good name.
Tailspin is pretty good too.

I like to name them after royalty or even gods (because they are, dang it!). Here's a site called Magic Names For Mystic Cats: http://tinyurl.com/ak5aw. Something noble for the shot records - then you can use any nickname that suits the moment. ;-)

Congrats on your new love machine!

Since your so in love with Dexter..

LOL! I'm picturing the receptionist at Granny's vet ... after all those years of taking care of Annie ... suddenly having to open a file for "Buttroy."

I'm a firm believer that cats will become whatever you name them. I fostered a kitten. I called him Willoughby. But the lady I fostered him for named him Monstro. Now he weighs a ton and flops like a whale. If he had kept Willoughby he would be gorgeous.

I'd name him Danny ... rhymes with ... oh, well, anyway, HE IS FECKIN ADORABLE!

I vote for "Askim"

Or you could call him Gregory. LOL

hmm, I kind of like most of the names..I thought about Thor, but every time I think of the name Thor I remember the Playboy Magazine cartoon..a couple are naked in the open way of a cave, and the guy is yelling out in to the wind...and the woman says "Thor, your Thor? I'm so thor I can't even pith."..hahah
He's too 'pretty for a real macho name..I sort of like Dexter..I've been refering to him as DUDE. Little Dude...Although I have been saving that name for a pitty bull dog...Hm,, I really like Dexter.

I think Dexter works also. I was going to say Ahab, but yeah, that works.
And congratulations on the new kitty. He's beautiful.

Look at the tail on that beautiful cat. No wonder he was knocking stuff over.

when I read the headline and saw the photo I started smiling and I've been smiling ever since. So happy you found him and he found you. I go with Buttroy!

I think Tailspin is good but since he's a vampire, I'd name him Evil Ed--my favorite sidekick vampire from Fright Night. Anyway its good that you have him.

Oh JackieSue....YAY a million times over. I like Buttroy too with Roy for the good boy and Buttroy for the bad boy....but, if you like it you can have my special name for Fuzz...Doodle....or Emma's...BooBoo.....or Guido's....HoneyBunny. I like people names....JimBob, Fred, Stan, Mike, Ray. Or Italian names like....Luigi, Guido, Sal, Beppe, Enzo, Rico, Vito. I had an Uncle Ignacio...they called him Ignatz....I like that too....but you will know what is the right name by his personality.....right now it sounds like he should be named Trouble or Pesky.

Was so happy this morning to see you found a companion Jackie.
Lucky kitty & lucky lady live happily ever after.

Dexter's a good name. Yay for you and yay for him. He sounds like he's enough of a spitfire to be fun and entertaining.

Oh, and just so you know, I came from a Hillsboro - Ohio version.

lol yeah Pies is short for magpies, which is a bird. Not sure if you have them over there. Nicknames are usually weird n funny over here.....We are doing a segment on American baseball this week, and maybe mention some NFL if we have time. but just keeping up with the playoffs for the World series with a New Yorkian we know. We also gave you a mention on our show for supporting our blog :-)
