TGIF...................

I spent about 30 minutes cleaning out my file cabinet with all my 'important papers' I need to keep up with. I wish I had a recorder going...lots of 'what the fuck are you keeping the instruction manual for a VCR you don't even own any more?..Why are the paid bills mixed in with my IRS files? Judas Priest Jackiesue, no one keeps bank statements from 1993...' I'm muttering to myself and every now and the one sided conversation would be peppered with 'Dexter, I swear to Goddess, you don't get out of the file cabinet I'm kicking your ass...Dexter stop it, you just mixed up all my truck receipts with my Social Security information..fuck Dexter, knock it off.'.....We're both stir crazy from all the fucking rain..but can't complain most of you guys are rectum deep in snow..have a great weekend..

I know exactly where the "End of Earth" sign was. It was put up by some students from Michigan Tech. If it had been farther off the road, it might still be there. The highway dept. removed it as it was too close to the pavement. Some businesses in the town across the bridge from Houghton used to sell t-shirts that said, "It's Not The End Of The World, But You Can See It From Here!"
When I mention UP on the Tundra, this is part of the area I'm talking about.

Where do you find these things? Good laughs on a Friday morning.

Thanks for the memories. That stretch of highway with the end of the earth sign was part of my morning commute when I worked at Michigan's Toughest University.

I think cats just love things that humans are paying attention too.
my cat would never bother a book but as soon as I picked one up to read she would go mad and rub herself and bite it.

Getting my files in order is an all day task which one of these days I'll set aside a day to do it.

I'm in total agreement with ol' George Washington.

And I can so relate to the Bizzaro comic... Maybe if I got a gift for it - it wouldn't sting so much.

John Stewart is my favorite news man.
I also agree with my buddy George.
I used to live near the end of the earth. I met The Boss there and think of it whenever I hear someone complain about snow.

Wow, those were good, but everything seems pretty good right now, like an apple pie.
Ever here of "wake and bake"?
You ought to try it sometime.

I wonder if it's easier to keep files or to do what I do, which is to throw all documents away, no matter how important they are.
