FINALLY A WIN.

It's about time..I thought we would win but I never know who is going to dress out in the Cowboys uniforms..For a change the real team showed up. I saw my team..not a bunch of hapless assholes running around comparing their paychecks. Our kicker made 2 0f 2 field goals too...Hot damn.
I am still sick...coughing my lungs up..gaking up stuff that is clear so don't know if that is a good thing or not. My chest, stomach and back hurt from coughing. It disturbs Dexter when we go to bed at night..He'll be in his kitty coma from sucking on the sheet and I'll start coughing and break the spell. He shoots me a dirty look and jumps off the bed. Yeah, like I haven't seen THAT look before from human bed mates.
We still haven't got any rain here..but the weather has actually been 'fall like'...it's been in the 80's during the day and 50's at night...Sleeping with the windows open. It's fucking fantastic. I will find out something Monday about our moving and when and where and what the details are. Will up date you..Ok..off to check on my wild rice. Friend of mine sent me some from Michigan..I am crazy about wild rice. The smell of it cooking rice now is driving me nuts...Hope your teams won.

That Dexter is one empathetic little bugger, just like his namesake! Hope the coughing clears up soon!

[sighs pitifully]

This is the next year that we were waiting for last year.

I caught up....the moving thing sounds really, really disruptive. Unless they have 4 million workers how will they finish all of the work in a week...unless Super 8 charges them 300 bucks/person a night. OK...Long grain and wild rice....chop a little onion and bell pepper add to rice and water and cook. Then wash/drain and add a can of black or red beans when rice is done ....mix and make some cornbread. Best damn dinner ever.

No comment on the football. I think it was football.

You're almost better! Get there soon!

It's been warm but cool here. The leaves are all yellow and I'M LOVING IT! I sleep with the window open a crack year round. Drives Derwood NUTS! I'm going to make him a sleeping hat for this winter.
