FRIDAY'S ARE SHORT

I went to Gold's Gym Thursday..other that what walking and working I do at Jackie's Kitchen that' s the only exercise I get besides walking from recliner to the bathroom. So I did 30 minutes on the treadmill, walked .08.2 tenths of a mile in that 30 minutes..My legs were shaking when I got off and had to go sit down I was so shaky.ha..but I rested about 15 minutes and felt fine..my heart rate was 78 when I first got on and was 100 when I got off..So that's a good thing. Will go next Tuesday too and hopefully next Thursday also and will do some walking around the apts in morning and evening..I know if I lose 50 pounds 3/4's of all my health problems will go by the way side..so there is no reason why I shouldn't do something about it. I've just been lazy...but going to do something about it..hopefully I can keep it up..hope everyone has a great weekend.

We spent a day in Seneca Falls, NY when they were celebrating 150yrs after the Women's Convention. The Old Lady has a t-shirt about it.

I like more breasts and less boobs!! Especially that boob that's pictured!!

Blimey, well done on the treadmill, I hate those freakin' things! Thanks for the chuckles again, the first one reminds me of me. Hope your weekend is fun and busy, or relaxing and quiet - you choose.

Treadmills are great but I've always preferred walking in the fresh air. Of course, when it's winter ten months of the year, it's harder to walk outside here. Keep walking though, it's great exercise!

As for your posters, I've always loved the way Barack and Michelle are so affectionate and loving together. It never seems forced for the public, but they seem to REALLY love each other. It doesn't hurt matters that they are both pretty damn hawt ; )

Hate to tell you this Granny, but there ain't no short cuts. I have recently put together a walking for health program for the local Arboretum so have become somewhat of an expert on the subject. Here's the deal, you must take 10,000 steps a day to maintain your weight and reduce risk of heart, diabetes, etc. To lose weight you must take 10,000 steps along with proper diet. Get yourself a pedometer and wear it all day long to count your steps. It really helps you to reach your goal if you can visually see it. You will find that you probably already take between 4,000 to 5,000 steps a day in normal activity so an additional 5,000 steps only requires about 30-40 minutes more activity.
