sigh*

Monday Abby starts daycare. Jame has had her on the list for an opening and it's like a year waiting list..Abby's been on the list since she was born and was 11 months the 24h. Jamie took me with her when she handed in all the paper work, and we got to look around, meet the lady who's room she'll be in.(Couldn't have been any sweeter or nicer) This is the same daycare that Olivia goes to. They'll be in different rooms but I'm sure they'll be able to interact..It's a wonderful place..and if she has to go to a daycare this is the best..Now ....even though I am thrilled with the place as is Jamie and Abby, I'm going to be so heartbroken, not to have her every day. Jamie works on the weekends and I can take care of her then. It's not like I'm never going to see her..but jeez, this is painful. It was so hard to put on a "Oh I'm so happy she's going to daycare." face..I was going to watch her today, but on the last 2 trips back from Wacko I-35 was bumper to bumper and I have a stick..so it was a constant clutch, move 2 feet, clutch, etc.So all last night I had cramps in my ankle so bad that finally got out of bed at 7, crying from the pain. I don't cry from pain..took 2 pain pills and been loopy all day..so didn't get to see her ...
some pictures of Abby in pool..in jail and at Granpa's and Nannies.

she is starting to look more like Jamie and getting 2 more teeth.

"So...? Gramps, what say you and I take off on the Harley and go for a spin."

 baby prison.

absolutely loves the water..and this is her doing her..OMG look..

It's hard when they grow up and they do grow up so quickly. I suspect Dexter is happy that you'll have more time for him now?

It is hard to give them up. I did that with three of the grandkids!

So precious and yes, your arms will feel empty until you adjust. Those times you have her will mean even more if that is possible!! Good luck to you both tomorrow.

That lovely child will continue to grow in the glow of a loving granny (and family)...no one could ask for more!

This is the way I still see my grandchildren although they are bigger than I am now.
