surprise birthday party...they skunked me.

Jenny called me a few days ago and wanted to take me out for dinner for my birthday(2nd trip to Pizza House that day) and I said cool yeah, Jamie was supposed to come but she had to work, which pissed me off, ha. then yesterday I got not one call from anyone in my family to wish me a happy birthday, I was pissing and moaning and groaning and writing people out of the will...So Jenny shows up without Olivia and she said her in laws were watching her at Nors? and they would bring her by later...wtf? and not once did I suspect that when I walked into Pizza House my entire family was going to be there..
It was terrific..I got a breadmaker...Now my house won't get all heated up and raise up my electric bill when I cook breads..and Candy got me a step stool so I don't have to vault into my bed every night..and Kathy got me a Baylor sleep jersey with property of Baylor Bears, with matching pj pants.so cool...and Jenny got me the Cowboy cookie cake..which I loved..(I ate 2 pieces and not telling what my blood sugar was this morning..) I had a great party with all of my family there..had over 200 birthday wishes on facebook..and my West Virginia ladies sent me Yellow Roses...hot damn.and a beautiful crafted throw..it is so pretty...so a good time was had by all and especially me..now I have to go write everyone back into the will...and what made it great was...Thom(SON) and his wife were there and Kathy, Thom's x-wife (mother of the granddaughers) was there too...I know that doesn't happen in most family's but mine rock..life is good.

Long time lurker and fan of your blog. (Thank you for helping me through the Bush years) Liberal Texas women all seem to be a lot like the great Ann Richards and it is nice to know that you are out there. We never will meet but I wish you the world for being such an incredible woman and taking the time to share some of you with us.

So happy that you had a lovely birthday, still cannot believe you are 70, have you checked your birth certificate? Can't wait to hear how the breadmaker goes. Hugs from me.
