my granddaughter Jennifer called me today to let me know that Olivia who will be 6 soon and in kindergarten..is now in the Gifted and Talented Class..and kindergarten kids are hardly ever allowed to get in..everyone in the family is taking credit for her smarts..it takes a village of idiots to raise a genius..

Yes, congrats to Team USA in women's hockey! It was a heartbreaker for Team Canada to lose but it had to happen sooner or later. Plus we've lost our dominance in curling too -- other countries have caught up to us in training and skill level. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted, LOL!

Debra..I really felt bad for the canaderian girls hockey team..until it was award time and they really pissed me off..the one girl jerking that medal off pissed me off good..our girls lost every fucking 4 years for 20 years and always smiled and acted proud of their silver.just really disappointed in their behavior..but she did apologize and it was a good apology..
I love middle age riot so much.
