If this had happened when I was a kid living in the DC area, I might have cried. My brother would have put his foot through another television and my dad would not talk for a few days. Back then the Redskins could and did lose to almost any other team without the my family raising an eyebrow. The season was a success as long as they beat Dallas.
I have been a Pats fan now for 25 or so years, but I still felt a flash of anger when the Cowboy punks kicked that field goal.
