THREE YEARS.1 MONTH 2 DAYS

Happy Anniversary to me...happy anniversary to me...
I started this blog(over on the other place) on March 12th, 2005...In some ways it seems like it's just been a short time and other ways it seems like I've know you all for fucking ever...I know your husbands, I know your wife's, I know your kids...dogs and if you like your in-laws or not..I've lit candles and prayed for some of you at least once and most of you on a weekly basis..
I've talked to some of you on the phone, sent and received cards and gifts. Sooner came to visit, and Babs moved in the apartment complex where I live. This Labor Day Weekend I hope to have at least 6-8 people down to see me, the fest and my fair city of West, by Goddess, Texas. Some of you are my neighbors here in West, some of you are kinfolk, and one of you has been my friend since we worked together in the early 90's. But in many many ways..you're all my family...as I have taken you to my heart and love you like you're my mine..

So...thank you very much for dropping by my little home sweet home away from home these past 3 years...You've made it a wonderful time for me and I Thank you for being my friend....

  5. I always feel so at home here - LOL when I see the Gaea I originally asked to "steal" from you I feel just fine ;)

  6. And you know JackieSue - you are the goddess and no one has a bigger heart than you. You've been there for me when i needed a hug and you've been there for me when i needed a bip upside the back of the head. Thank goddess you decided to blog 3 plus years ago because you've made a difference in the lives of your friends.

Besides, who else was gonna welcome a weary and teary emotional wretch like me with open arms? Who else was gonna chase my ass down and drag me out of my pity-party hiding hole? Just you and the gang and i loves you all.

  8. Happy Anniversary Jackiesue!
I had to brave the crappy place and go back through my own. The earliest one left is March 18th 2005 though I know there were a couple of older ones. My classic first titled "Test" has been lost to posterity along with if memory serves was something like "I don't know what to write." Gone forever.
But I went out and looked at other people's blogs and learned a valuable lesson. It really doesn't matter what you post as long as it's you.
One of the first that I read was How to go insane. Babs has given me a lot of tips in that area. Then there was you and Sooner, Denise, APOS, Leo and a whole bunch who have fallen by the wayside.
Over three years and I can still look forward to punching that little link to the 50's and Yellowdogs take on the world.
You’re praying to the Goddess helped get me through the Steroids that almost killed me trying to cure me, and looking forward to a little E-mail joke on top a good read out here has made some gloomy times brighter. Not to mention trying to explain to The Boss why I got a tin of Bag Balm in the Mail from some French guy in Texas.
You even sent me a Christmas card, though I only found it a couple of weeks ago. One of the boys checked the mail and left it on the sewing table and piled stuff on top of it that I didn't move for a while.
    Thanks.
Daughter just called. I gotta go to her work and pick up both Granddaughters’ and take them to the other daughters’ house. Daughter #1 can't afford to be late anymore and had to pick up the 14 year old sick at school. Hard to believe I have stuck with anything for 3 years. :)

I know when nobody comes round, JS will always be there for me. I love you kid! I talked to Bruce about things I want to do before I die and one of them is meeting you. I want to take a bus to WesT and stay a day or two with you. Soon. Maybe in October. Let me know if it's good for you.
