NITWIT UPDATE



just a short note...I have talked to him(at him, he can't talk) and Rose(she talks) and he went outside today.they took him outside..I thought that was terrific.She said he is doing better. Every day I think he gets a little better..Rose puts him on the phone and I get to talk with no interruptions(my kind of conversation) and I make him laugh..I told him that Sooner has turned into a woman. Every since he bought his home all he does is decorate and work on his porch and yard. He even named his rose bush.(the beautiful rose is Hannah, after his even more beautiful duaghter.).I told Nitty that we told him he was turning into a pussy..I heard this strangling noise, so I'm hoping that was an attempt at laughter. I asked him if he had started getting his get well cards yet(then said grunt twice if no, once for yes)...he made that strangling noise again. Rose said he had gotten 2 of them so far..She said it really means a lot to him.So thank you my friends for being friendly to my buddy..

On a sadder note..my friend in England Paul(Oldenoughtomoan) died from his cancer. He had been bravely fighting it for several years and died this past Tuesday. It breaks my heart..He had just gotten married and had a lovely wife and kids..Just came back from a great vacation in Ireland and Scotland, so glad that he got to spend that special time with his family. I will continue to light a candle and pray for him and his family. I am sure the Goddess has swept him up into her arms and is making a place at the table for him.
I hope all of you daddy's out there had a wonderful Fathers Day...Your all the best in my book...

    There is healing in the sunlight...and as much or more healing in knowing your friends care about you.

    I'm glad nitwit is feeling better -

    The Goddess must know a great addition to the table and the dinner time conversation when she shes one - she undoubtably has a talent scout or two looking around for her.

    As for Sooner - surely you can appreciate a man that appreciate beauty in his life.
