The human race's ability to pervert the "good" is nearly as remarkable as it's ability to do the right thing. Sometimes we need to be pushed, often with kicking and screaming and with the help of some bribes to do "good".
But I know someone in West, Texas that prepared food for the less fortunate until her feet gave out - and that some one sent get-well cards to her very ill friend and I know her heart is in the right place. I consider getting to know her and to be able ot call her my friend - a privilige and an honor.
I hope you enjoy the holiday cheer, YDG and that the smiles and "Aaahhhs! So yummy!" exclaimations echo in your ears over the next few weeks.
As far as that goes the holiday is celebrating the Birthday of someone who was considered one of three criminals nailed that day.
Those cards and good wishes had a lot to do with me being here to make smart assed remarks on peoples blogs and even blogging a little myself.
I sat in the movies for almost three hours last night watching Avatar. Even though they don't do 3-D here it was one of the best movies I've ever seen. If I get any Christmas money I'll go again. MERRY HOLLOW DAYS!
