  1. It's still Thursday for me but dog gone it people like me anyway.
I am for single payer health care for everyone, and then I hear a conservative speak and start thinking about changing the definition of everyone.

  2. 'Civil ceremonies' (gay marriage) has been legal in the UK for several years - thank goodness! I've been to a couple of gay weddings and they're every bit as loving and meaningful as a 'traditional' wedding.

  3. Loved the shit about CatWoman...I mean Sarah Palin (Why is it I can't get rid of the mental image of her wandering around downtown Anchorage in 20 years, talking to herself and pushing a shopping cart full of kittens?).

  4. Speaking of Bible Spice...Caribubu Barbie... Quitta from Wasilla... The one that keeps bitching about socialized medicine and government death panels, her grandson Twigg or Tripp or whatever his name is is on socialized medicine, he is on Indian Heathcare. You'd think with all the money she's made lately she would buy some good privatized health insurance for her grandson???

Now that I got that out of the way, like the stumbles. Especially Bark Rowe the dirty jobs dog.

  10. The ones on healthcare are the best!..On the one hand,I got Rush and Hannity telling me how disastrous other countries health care systems are, like it's a given, and on the other hand I have blog pals from those countries telling me how great their system is.

patsy:some americans are still living in the 19th century..another reason why I like the brits and canadians.
    ted:oooh, if only..ha.
kulkuri:oh great point..and I'll have to use that next time some palin fan goes off on me..
    I loved the bark rowe..ha.

  12. Healthcare? Where do the Canadian sports teams go for their heathcare? Its even written in their contracts. Why do so many people from other countries come to the US for operations? Does the Canadian system include percriptions? NO! Does the plan pay for everything? NO! A supplemental plan is required that could cost over $3000 dollars. We all need to look at both sides of the issue and then decide.

  13. Ahhh I dream of the day that your country has Health Care, Gun Control and Gay Marriage. In other words, I dream to take over America and make it Canada.

    Muaahaaahaaa!

  14. I'd laugh harder if I didn't find it so depressing, 'specailly the marriage issue. Even my little rock has gun control, gay marriage, and healthcare for all.

  15. rainy..noone is saying our health care is bad..its great..we just can't afford it..

  16. I liked the gay marriage pie, that's what I've been trying to say for so long.
It shouldn't even be an issue, people against it should just admit it, it's none of their business.

  17. Rainywalker - I can't see what has you so reserved...
Is it the lies they told about global warming, or the lies they told about Y2K or the lies they told about 9-11-01 and the ongoing resulting police-action...I mean "armed conflict" in Iraq and Afghanistan, or the reinstatement of the "Patriot" Act? What makes you not trust these people with your health care??
For some strange reason, all of the above leaps irresistibly to mind.

  19. I wonder if that kangaroo court over in Iraq would like to try Bush/Cheney for war crimes and then hang 'em like they did Saddam. Oh hell, just send them there and lets find out?
