That National Debt Increase chart is an eye-opener, isn't it? NeoCons pretend to be so "fiscally conservative" and paint everyone else as irresponsible wastrels. But they slash taxes for their buddies and then have inadequate government income to meet obligations -- so therefore HUGE deficits.
I'd like to see the last couple years on the debt increase chart... just to get the whole picture. Of course it isn't one party versus another - it's all of the "crooks" in Washington - none of which has said (or even whisper hinted) anything about cutting their own salaries, staffs, or benefits and showing REAL leadership.
..and I've yet to figure out what the hell the USA is doing in Lybia... what's the plan?
