Don't get me wrong--I'm not going to miss him, but I still get queasy rooting for murder. He killed thousands, and then Bush killed a hundred thousand, give or take, and if I thought it would all end because someone finally plugged the right guy--I don't know. Somehow I doubt it. I will remain very quiet and I will cheer inwardly because Obama will finally get some cred from certain quarters (maybe), but I can't get out in the streets and sing God Bless America over this. Okay, I never did like that song.

That song and the Star Spangled Banner STILL give me goosebumps. Proud to be an America, which doesn't mean I am not aware of what goes on in my country.
