A couple of years ago, our Conservative federal government's Justice Minister proposed changing the Canadian Criminal Code to distinguish between "forcible rape" and other kinds of sexual assault. Now I know where that idiot got the idea and terminology from. It provoked such a huge outcry from women's groups, lawyers and the public that the idea was quickly scrapped. It would have put our criminal law back 50 years to an era no one wants to return to.

Re: Hemp. Heard many years ago that one of reasons for the anti-marijuana laws was DuPont didn't want the competition from hemp.
