I may be shutting down the blog..been 8 years and over 3,000 posts..like I said, it's a pain in the ass to do these sometimes..blogger sucks and takes me forfecking ever to download some of the pictures..and for who? 10 people? I know there are more out there, my stats say so..but I'd like to hear from you once in a while, so I don't think I'm farting into a hurricane...
I have been reading your blog for about 6 months now. I love it, and I LOVE it. There have been days when reading your funnies was the highlight of my day.

You must use your time in the best way for YOU, YDG. If that means no more blog, then that's the way it has to be. We'll miss you, of course, but I know it's frustrating "farting into the hurricane" as you so eloquently put it.

I so look forward to your posts. Love the darling baby girls and Mondays and Fridays,you are the first thing I turn to for a laugh. Just gets me through the week and the weekend. I'm not much of a commenter, and I imagine it must feel like you are doing all that work for no one. Just wanted you to know, this is one New York democrat grandmother who loves your Texas feistiness, your sense of the absurd. Just can't get behind the Cowboys! Sorry. Pity me I live in Buffalo and have to root for the Bills.

I can't tell you how encouraging all the comments and emails I have received are to this old broad..I'll keep her going ..also going to start doing political posts like I did when I first started ..and for the ones that weren't here for that..it was big ass fun...I tore George W a new ass on a regular bases..think I can do the same for Cruz and the rest of them assholes...look out.

Nooooooooo,Jackie Sue!!!! My sanity depends on you...it helps to "keep the body count " down! I also am guilty of enjoying but not getting involved. I PROMISE to become less of a voyeur and more of a participant. I believe we have MUCH in common...adoring grandmas, great delightful, left-leaning senses of humor ,live 1.5 miles from a chemical plant...and did I mention I'm a Pagan liberal surrounded by large masses without a lick of common sense amongst them?(thus the need for the sense of humor).I regularly share your wonderful Friday posts with one of my secretaries who keeps them where she can refer to them...and she does...often. I will wait with baited breath hoping you'll reconsider. I look forward to commiserating with you and yours about the state of things in the future...too subtle?
