    Love the bubblewrapped steering wheel! How brilliant is that? And that weather map of Canada -- absolutely accurate! The political ones make me shake my head with sadness for the US.

    They used to sell t-shirts with the shitty weather map of the U.P.

    re. payday loans, I know a guy that does that every month. He's on a fixed income (disability) and he gets a loan every month. Pays off one loan plus interest and then gets another loan. If he would pay off the loan and not get another he would have whatever he pays in interest more to spend. (He's probably stuck in a rut where after he pays off his loan he doesn't have enough money left to live on for the rest of the month.) He actually told me the payday loan thing was a "lifesaver" for him. WTF!!
