John Cleese is a smart and perceptive man. I love Monty Python's "Life of Brian" not only for its religious satire, but for its equally devastating satire of political movements. "What have the Romans ever done for us?"
Redd Foxx used to do a bit about, "Elizabeth, it's the big one, I'm coming to join you!!" When he had a heart attack on the set everyone thought he was doing his bit!!
A great choice again! I had to wait until Saturday night to read them; and it bugged me all day Friday and most of today. Cant start the weekend without Yellow Dog Granny. the Ol'Buzzard
I remember when he died, everyone thought he was joking around..what a way to go..I love John Cleese too..and Monty Python..I've always been proud of Texas for being the first pbs station(Dallas) to show monty python...I have a tshirt that says I fart in your general direction..sorry you had to wait ole buzzard, that sucks..
