Some of my earliest TV memories involve Dave Letterman. I had a babysitter who would let me stay up and watch him, and I have memories of the writer's strike (when I was 4 or 5!), when he'd waste time making toast for his audience.
I haven't watched him in years, but like with Stewart and Leno, it's hard to believe he won't be around anymore.
I watched Dave religiously for years, then I got old and couldn't stay up that late. I taped the finale though and was so happy I did. I'm going to miss that funny fucker!

The Dodgers are in a better place.
