HAVE A GREAT LIFE DAVE, HAVE A GREAT LIFE...

 not since the Dodgers left Brooklyn have I felt so sad...

  1. Some of my earliest TV memories involve Dave Letterman. I had a babysitter who would let me stay up and watch him, and I have memories of the writer's strike (when I was 4 or 5!), when he'd waste time making toast for his audience.

    I haven't watched him in years, but like with Stewart and Leno, it's hard to believe he won't be around anymore.

  2. Having gone to college in Indiana - back in Dave's prime - I saw a lot of him.

    I hope he enjoys his retirement - he really got to meet a lot of folks during his career!

  5. I watched Dave religiously for years, then I got old and couldn't stay up that late. I taped the finale though and was so happy I did. I'm going to miss that funny fucker!
