You know what makes me fear for America's future? Not lone wolf terrorists. Donald Trump in the Presidency. THAT'S what depresses me and fills me with despair. Do the right thing, Americans! Keep him out of office.
Now that things are unfolding, I'm finding I have quite a few acquaintances who are Trump supporters and I'm ALSO finding that they REALLY don't understand what's motivating a Democrat and that if I talk with them very calmly and ask a few good questions, they at least stop and re-consider. (Ha. That made me sound all zen. But it's way easier to have this conversation with people who agree to be very very polite.)
I haven't found a Trump supporter that I could talk to in a calm and rational way to express my views and have them tell me their reasons for liking him...it ends with them saying I'm a fucking liberal pagan, what do I know?
