    We talk about the ignorance of Trump voters electing Trump; but Trump lost the popular vote by three million - it is the fucking electoral college that is the problem. We need to amend the Constitution and remove the Electoral College - but it won't happen because it is the Republican's trump card.

    The Electoral College isn't so much the main problem as it is a result of what the main problem is: nationwide minority voter suppression through gerrymandering, rampant election fraud by technological means, hostile voting laws, and outright discrimination and harassment of minority voters.

    Not to mention the overall dumbing-down of the general voting population, leaving them susceptible to this kind of fascist rah-rah-sis-boom-bah garbage...
