Is it like a DTV service through your ISP, or is it like Netflix/etc. through the TV app?
If it's a dedicated DTV service, it shouldn't be cutting into your allocated 'Net bandwidth - they're supposed to provide the necessary bandwidth dedicated to it as part of the DTV subscription.
