If you had enough money, you could just drive across the border and stay indefinitely as a tourist. No hoops. Getting into Canada is easy, especially if you're old and white and in a car with border state plates. People go back and forth all the time in cities like Sault Ste. Marie and Detroit.
What a week, such a sad horrible state of affairs. I held out a wee little bit of hope; but that didn't last long. Terrible to say and think, but maybe a few of those people will get an incurable disease.
C'mon, YDG, sneak across that border! We'll hide you in My Rare One's basement in Edmonton! Bring warm clothes though, Alberta's not QUITE as warm as Texas, LOL!
