He was a part of my life from the beginning and will be missed. Strange that after all the Billions spent on research he was still taken by Cancer at the age of 83 instead of being killed by a jealous husband as he jumped out a ladies window. If he didn't live right I don't know who did. Sigh…
He really was one of the all time greats...Cool Hand Luke, Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid, the Hustler, and so many others...really his presence in a movie was always a sign of quality, even if the movie wasn't a masterpiece--Paul didn't do cheese. He will certainly be missed.
As a hockey fan, I bow down to Slap Shot. As a person who likes to eat, I bow down to Newman's Own products. And as something of a humanitarian in spite of hating the human race on general principles, I bow down to Paul Newman. He was the man!
Paul Newman's finest work: Cool Hand Luke without a doubt. Haven't felt this bad about something since I found out Michael Jackson was a chickenhawk. Sucks...Big time!
it's hard not to admire Paul Newman for putting his money to work in such productive ways, such as his Newman's Own line--high quality stuff and the proceeds go to good causes... very smart.
