DEXTER AND HIS OPOSSUM BUDDY

Dexter was outside..came to the screen and acted like he wanted in so I opened it up and he walked over to the end of the porch and there was the Opossum. Dexter went right up to it and tried to head butt him but the Opossum was a little freaked out by me so I went back inside after I took the pictures. The picture of Dex is of him patiently waiting for his buddy to finish eating so they could go play. I looked out later and the Opossum was waddling off and Dexter was right behind him. You could almost hear Dexter."wanna play, wanna play?"..

    that's why the cats all hang out here..Dexter doesn't want to fight, doesn't want to be territorial or bad..just wants to play..
    he tries to play with Babs 2 girls Tina and Prego and they try to kick his ass..and he can't understand why.

    I think the Opossum was a little intimidated by Dexter..he is taller and longer than him and might out weigh him too..so I think he just went along to get along..

    I opened the door of a friends house to walk to my car and there sat a possum staring at me. I screamed like a bitch, slammed the door then made her walk me to my car with a fireplace poker to scare him off.

    I love wild animals, but I like them further than 1 foot from me thank you very much.

    You should call the possum "Ralph" remember that cartoon, "Wanna chase cars Ralph? Huh? Huh? Wanna chase cars?....."
    Dexter is a beautiful cat, and what a sweet nature he has.
