T.J. of T.J. and Merle passed away this morning in his sleep. He was ready to go, but we weren't ready to let him.
I found out he had come home from the hospital, as he didn't want to die at home...so I went by Thursday and got to say my I love yous and good-byes.Teased him about hogging the morphine drip..Merle is doing ok..but think after all is said and done and every one goes home and he is alone in the house it's going to hit him..But he's surrounded by people that loved T.J. and him and will be there for him. Goddess bless you my friend.

Rest in Peace Cowboy.
Sorry to hear about your friend, T.J. -- that's very sad. Hugs to all and special blessings to Merle.
I am so sorry to hear this. You were lucky to get to be with him near the end.
I'm sorry to hear this, but glad you got to see him near the end.
{{{hugs}}}
I didn't know him or Merle, and can't help thinking the loss is mine.
There's been a lot of really good people I know "check out" over the last year, and It's so unfair that these great lights are going out and leaving the world a darker place than it already very much is.
Damn...*shakes head* Just damn!
Sorry to hear that. With Ted on this one, "just damn."
I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend and I'm sorry for Merle's loss as well. May you find comfort in warm memories in the days ahead. (((((HUGS)))))
I think of all the years I've known him and Merle and my favorite memory of him is about 3 years ago when he was talking about being gay(first time we had ever discussed it..as he knew I just didn't give a shit)and he was talking about gay bars..said he didn't ever want to own a gay bar as 'them gays are too weird for me, they dress funny, they act funny...nope I like my bar with all my straight friends..yup..I just like my straight friends.'...
and the feelings were mutual...
Good sentiment, I pretty much agree with him on that one.
*Hugs*
