THEY ARE NOT FUCKING "DRONES". They are Remotely-Piloted Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, or UAV for short. 'Drones' are autonomously guided - they receive no control input from the from the moment they are launched until they are either retrieved or they crash. The Global Hawk and all its ilk are radio-controlled and run by a remote pilot at all times. I do think they have a Return-To-Base failsafe mode if the control link is severed, either by jamming or radio failure, but that is just a safety feature.
