"God's Dildos" is my new favorite band name!! 🎸🥁🤣 As for Butker...I have been a Chiefs fan for the full 58 years of its existence and have learned to take the truly awful with the amazingly fantastic. My comments on Butker's speech have surprised my friends, who know I'm an atheist, because I am offended most by how he treats his own religion even though he claims to be devout! I'll admit my masochism 'cause I listened to all 21 minutes of Butker's speech. He acted as some kind of emissary of god when he's just a garden-variety misogynist/bigot...not only by telling women and men and parish priests and all Catholics who don't practice Catholicism exactly as he does to "stay in their lanes;" he even said it to Pope Francis (not by name, but by extension). Butker demands that Catholics be traditional and rigid (i.e. only attend churches that practice TLM...Traditional Latin Mass). Yet, the actual "Vicar of Christ" (pope) is trying to get Catholics to relax before they kill his church...he refers to Catholic rigidity as "suicide!" Even as an atheist I am insulted by Butker's treatment of his own religion!! 🤯
