Sorry for your loss Jackiesue. I know she will be missed by everyone who ever used the library. Not to mention all her friends and family, plus a few oddball bloggers who have learned a little about he through your posts.
thanks everybody..I went to west resthome yesterday and she had just passed away..Ihad taken her a framed picture that Johanna drew had made for her..it said 'i love books'...and she wanted henrietta to have it..it wasn't a good ending for her as the kids didn't want her to have a lot of pain killer so she would be responisive to them....yeah, yelling and screaming from the pain..but she's probably in heaven right now taking st.peter to task about how he keeps his books and his records...for those of you who don't know who she is..she's the west, texas librairian..the only one we had for over 20 years...she and I had absolutly nothing in common..she was a strict catholic, republican, and only read danielle steele...but some how we came together and were friends..I gave her hell every chance I could and she took it and gave it right back..I'll really miss her..Nancy the new librarian is cut out of the same cloth I am so we won't have the little battles that henrietta and I had...and i will really miss that and miss her...thanks again..js

Oh WoW.
I’m sorry JS.
She sure didn't look how I pictured her.
Sympathies to you and all those who knew her. It sounds like she had a good life.
You've told so many wonderful stories about her. Sorry for your loss JS. It's sad to lose such a good friend.
