woke up to no electricity. Which meant the house was muggy and stuffy and I had blood pounding in my head and hard to breathe..so I figured my blood pressure was up and doubled up on my meds and symptoms didn't go away..my blood sugar was up so I took the glimperide.. that I had eliminated and it was still up..I thought I'll wait it out..it's going to stop...21/2 hours later..no changes ..so I'm thinking..call 911? or drive up to our emergency station and see if they can check my blood pressure..so I drove myself to the station and damn I wish I could remember his name(cute cute blond kid) took me out to a unit and hooked me all up and blood pressure was up and after a bunch of very smart questions figured out it might be a asthma attack..he called in Tom Marek and he came in and offered up more intelligent questions and conversation.. and put me on the 12 hook up and my heart was great, blood pressure was going down(thanks to the doubling up of the blood pressure meds my blood pressure was down..now we're worrying I took too much and was going to bottom out..but it stayed same ...so hooked me up to nebulizer and that helped ..Tom Marek(he and the cute blond are my new hero's) said 3/4 of the work was done..up to me if I wanted to go to hospital..well I hate fecking hospitals..his concern was if the electricity was still out there was no way for me to hook up my nebulizer..and did I have a place to go to get electricity ? I'm thinking Barbara or any other friend in West...could have electricity and mine might even be back on..so I came home..my decision..which I like..making my own decisions..get home and have electricity ..so switched on a/c to get humidity out of air..and am now hooked up to my nebulizer..blood pounding in my head is gone and my chest is easing up..tada..but I am so grateful to Thom and the cute blond kid..who after I told him I hadn't smoked in 46 years, drank in 23 years and had sex since 1985 said that could be your problem...go have a cigarette, a beer and have sex..I'm thinking to myself? wanna volunteer..hahah...ok, don't tell him that..any how..they were wonderful and I learned a lot of information from Thom Marek...how pain can lead to high blood pressure and since that nerve was pinched for probably 20 years or better that my nerve to back of head could be messed up which could account for my high blood pressure..something we never considered..not connecting the two..so have lots of info to give to Dr Cujo when I go in Tuesday..but for now ..all is well in Jackiesue's world..
