most new but there were a few that were'oh shit..THAT WEST TEXAS?'... I think they didn't see the comma between west and texas..ha..which is why we have Tshirts that say West Comma Texas.
That was a great story. I cried a bit at the end but it was great. I'm happy that West is healing. I often wondered how things were going up there after all these years.
...I went back and watched the video that Derrick Hurtt shot of the fire, the part that caught the moment of detonation. ~150 tons of Ammonium Nitrate. Sweet Mother of Chrome...
@Raven Onthill...on my computer. I'm pretty computer literate...more so than most, being a retired graphic artist and nothing is working with this. I suspect that it may have something to do with the fact that my morning news feed has the Post as one of the feeds. I look at that every morning, so it recognizes my computer and I have somehow exceeded the allowable free views...although it's not blocking me from my news feed one. But, thanks for your idea.
Wow! Your town has my greatest admiration. Reading this reminded me of accounts of Hiroshima and the atomic bomb explosion. West, Texas...made of the right stuff, for sure.

GREAT POST. I remember hearing about the explosion and not connecting it to my blogging buddy, Jackie. West has made us all proud.

Well crap...I want to read this, but I don't really want to subscribe to the paper. Oh well.
I don't understand there was nothing about subscribing for me or anyone else.
Tried it again... Still there. $100 per year.
Thank you for this. I had no idea the cause of the fire had been found to be arson.
jadedj, are you reading in an app? If so, try copying the URL to a browser and see if that helps.
