AUNT LEOLA'S GETTING A LAPTOP

my 86 year old Aunt Leola got mugged at the bank. For $110 in ones and a roll of quarters..sonsabitches..she's fine but thought you would find this little face book chat between me and her daughter Cheryl amusing.

She's doing a lot better, cuz. I spoke with her early this day, arranging Thanksgiving, and she sounded almost her normal cheerful self. Oh, and she's asked for a laptop for Christmas. Just warning everyone there's gonna be a new FB member soon.

WEST REST HAVEN BAKE SALE

the bake sale is today..I started Sunday making the pecan pies, and finished up last night with the pumpkin cheese cake's which are the white colored ones in the refrigerator. The rest are banana creams and assorted cream pies. There is every kind of dessert you can think of..Although at the time I was there, no one had brought Kolaches, but there were Butchkas and strudels.I hope they make a ton of money..It's for a good cause. Now I have to get busy and start making up the list of pies, cakes brownies, etc for all the people at bank, post office, Dr's office, Old Corner Drug and grocery stores..sigh*...
wish you guys were here...absolutely the best desserts you'll find any where. Happy Thanksgiving.
