WINDY MONDAY..AND NOT 100 DEGREES OR HIGHER.

Westfest is almost over..shuts down at midnight. I was going to go see Gary P Nunn, but the wind is blowing like a mini hurricane and I ate all the dirt and dust and sawdust I need this morning when I was there. It was awful, but didn't stop Rae and I from buying some more stuff from the Arts and Crafts booths. I'm not sure what all Rae got, but I got a beautiful African picture, 3 necklaces, 1 bracelet, a 44 oz jar of local honey ($14), some honey straws, a container of Salsa In A Snap. for $10 I think, I forget. But damn it tastes good. You add a tablespoons to a can of diced tomatoes and you got some kick ass salsa.Has a bunch of different recipes to. Good stuff Maynard.
Only thing I ate was pork-k-bob and it rocked. I had to have some carbs so I asked if she could put it on a piece of white bread..There was so much meat she made a sandwich out of it and it rocked. It took a long time for her to put it together cause she was doing such a great job..I stuck a couple $'s in the tip jar for the extra work she did. Rae and I sat down in one of the beer tents and met 2 nice ladies from Dallas who had come down for the Fest. I'm hoping they will be new readers. If they are ?...Howdy.
going to make this short as I'm going to do a post about all that Babs, Rae and I did while she was visiting. Fun times. Enjoy the rest of your Labor Day weekend..

Stole the one about wanting you to stop believing that giving money to the rich will make you rich.

No problems today on getting at your blog.

The wind was tough, but wasn't it nice to be fairly cool and not a blast furnace. Glad you had a good time this weekend. Looking forward to hearing about it.

The best little cathouse in Texas and the kitty who lost the race were so good I will overlook the Putin omission.

Love all the political cartoons, especially Cheney's "My Pet President." I'm convinced that Cheney was the real power in the Bush administration and George W. was just the window dressing to deflect attention from that fact.

Sounds like you're having a blast at WestFest! Yahoo!

I thought that was Putin on the motorcycle that's better than the Pope Mobile.
Texas Conservative was good too.

Glad you're no longer melting.
You have a dream book?
What does it mean if you dream you're lost in a maze two nights in a row?

Mmm... pork-k-bob sounds good... I better go home and get some dinner soon!

I could think of a bunch of alternate titles for Cheney's "My Pet President." :) I'll never pay to read it though.
