Bluebells? Whatever they are, they're so beautiful, I can't stand it. Do they last long? I lived in a little village in Suffolk, close to a manor house that had a yard fullllllll of daffodils - a big gorgeous burst of yellow. That lasted about three seconds. I always wondered what the hell they were thinking, but I would wonder that because I'm the worst flower gardener I know. sigh.
nothing better than Texans for great quotes..Ann Richards and Molly Ivins were the best. Boodababy..those are bluebonnets..Texas flower..our state flower..they grow only in the spring..start about mid march and maybe end of May...

Yeah, those are good quotations -- never heard the phrase "Winter Texan" before but not too hard to figure it out!

Good quotes and I LOVE the fields of flowers.

Some of my mom's kinfolks live in Texas. I've never met any of them.
