I'm going to go back to Monday and Friday..I  have a 4 month old beautiful great grandson who I watch 2 days a week..it kicks my ass.but I wouldn't change one second of it...so my time is becoming more important to me..and if things don't change? Sorry if I don't comment very often. I usually click Like or Love on FB. Does that count?

Thank you for all your work. Bona fide long term lurker here. Your blog is wonderful, and family comes first. will read as often as you post!

I understand, Jackiesue. These posts are a lot of work, especially every day! Blogging should never be a chore or a thankless task but if it becomes one, then you're right -- there's lots of other things to do in this world! You must do what's best for you, absolutely!

C'mon, stay with us! I am a new lurker to your blog, and like sharing the best memes with my wife. We ain't exactly Trump supporters.

Debra's point is a very valid one. As you know I've given up on a good deal of social media and don't comment much anymore though I do look at post - particularly with the GGs and now the young lad. I've been finding that blogging has become at times a chore - more a duty than a pleasure. When I hit times like that I simply stop.

Big hugs from our tiny Island.

I am another lurker who doesn't comment, but I love your blog. I do hope you don't give it up completely, but I understand if you cut back to two days a week. Thanks for all the giggles.

Sweetie, I always come in here everyday to check you out to see what's what in your part of Texas. I may not always comment but I am here. I also understand that you would want to spend more time with the grandkids. So, don't feel bad if you want to cut down on the posting. I'm pretty sure everyone including myself understands.

This is my second visit today. I'm addicted to this site.
Do what you have to do. I'm proud of what you've posted.

long time lurker (raises hand) Your posts are the first things I look at in the morning. I am thrilled when I see new posts (love the gg's) and re-read the old ones. You have helped me get through these last few years and raise the hope we will make it to 2020. You have to do what is good for you but I would miss you horribly if you stopped.

YDG, You are my first read in the morning. I tend to lurk most of the time though. Your work is appreciated! And the ggs are wonderful. Thanks for sharing them with us.

JackieSue, you are the dose of sanity and kick-assy-ness that I need to get me through these dark and evil times. I comment every now and then, but I'm here every day, thanking you for being YOU.

Pennsylvania lurker here... love your stuff and will miss it if it's gone. Stick around if you can, but if you can't I'll savor the memories with a big smile.

I drop by every day. You're the highlight of my daily blog reading. I don't comment because it's always so spot on and my language tends towards the salty especially when THAT man is mentioned.

Another lurker here. From Ohio, a state that has lost its mind and gotten redder.
I visit the first thing about every day.
You are a good internet friend.

I LOVE your blog and look forward in coming here every day. I NEED it in these times of insanity and vileness. You hit the mark every day and for that, I so thank you. Please don't go....many of us who
don't comment are HERE and LOVE you for being you and speaking the truth. PLEASE STAY.

I agree with every single comment. I love to start the day with a good laugh at trump's expense, but I can see the amount of work and time it takes you to do this.
Love those grandkids, but please post when you feel like it.

JackieSue, You've said more than once that you post per available time and energy with the overwhelming approval and appreciation from commentators and lurkers. So... who is calling you a poopy pants?

I believe I speak for many by saying "Let me at em'" on your behalf of course.

Sending Rocky Mountain Love, some Light O' Day to illuminate your Way, and Silver Platters and Half-penny nails wrapped in a Bow of For the Good of All and May it Harm None.

Ouch! I'm still here. I do comment now and then Usually I check it out early in the morning and am usually in a hurry to get everybody else up and out. Many times I don't get back til mid day, then a short nap and then back to get my youngest daughter from school. Usually, I don't come back here til next time. I will say, I sort of thought you just weren't commenting except to Debra. Anyway...DON'T GO...DAMNIT!

I’m here every day,

Keep doing what you do.

Don’t go by comments, go by hits,

You are much more important than you think,

And I’m Canadian,.......

JackieSue,

Another lurker here. So often the people that do the most are the least appreciated because they are reliable and kick ass! Like you! I am guilty of not appreciating your hard work with comments congratulating you on the brilliant memes you post for our enjoyment and edification. You are awesome, plain and simple! Like others have stated, I will do better with commenting. I am relieved you are not going to quit and will have to be satisfied with twice weekly postings from you. Perhaps, and hopefully, you will be energized and encouraged to post more on occasion.

Thank you for all you do. My Tuesday through Thursdays will be a little less bright for missing you.

I do a blog that gets largely ignored. It's about a family cottage up in Canada on a beautiful lake, and shall remain nameless here for obvious reasons. I'm the family handydude among my 3 brothers, 17 cousins, and all the aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews involved. The blog lets them know about all the little improvements I've made, and lets them offer suggestions for more. It also includes a calendar function for scheduling our stays. I do 2 or 3 posts per year, and that's still sometimes a pain in the ass, mostly because of all the photoshopping of the pictures I've taken, and the writing. I blog out to an admittedly small audience, and most of the time all I get back is crickets.

I'm also on Blogger (Google). You can see the page view totals by clicking on "Design" at the top of the page, and then clicking on "Stats" to see the numbers. If you haven't checked yours out, it may be bigger than you think. It'll be higher than my blog's anyway. I blame that on my family's older generation being awful at computers, and the rest living hundreds or thousands of miles away from the cottage and/or being exclusively texters & Facebookers, which I ain't..

Don't think for a second that what you do is unappreciated. I steal a lot of memes from here, and some other places. My "Commander of Cheese" folder is bustin' at the seems with over 400 saves. My computer illiterate Dad (who also hates that Orange Shitsack) enjoys the hell out of them when we're up at the aforementioned cottage, where there's no internet or TV. I always hear it from him secondhand that my other relatives appreciate my blogging. They're just to lazy to write back.

New Jersey lurker here. Please know that your blog has been invaluable in reminding us that we are not alone in despising the criminal enterprise that has infected our government.
Do what you have to do on your own schedule, just, please don’t stop your brilliant posts.

I stop by almost daily to enjoy your posts, but don't comment often. I too have saved some things, usually those that make me laugh out loud. But, absolutely that adorable grandson comes first. But I do hope you don't quit altogether.
