I just couldn't believe that he pardoned Susan B. Anthony. First off she was arrested because she was fighting for rights, not committing a crime and therefore, as many of the other suffragette wore her arrest with pride. I doubt she would really approve of this. He is so stupid, but this is par for the course. Never would he pardon a living woman. He is afraid of them.
I posted that Nasty Woman on my blog. It's only fitting since my trump loving brother called me that when I told him trump will be gone Jan 20th. Also that meme with Emma Knight was so cute! It's exactly what I want to do when I turn 100. I have great plans. The Texans meme near the end is a keeper. I needed to show that to David. Reading a book with short stories of 26 women who move to Mexico. "Why We Left, An Anthology of American Women Expats" by Janet Blaser. Great read so far (7 of 26). Like Emma without waiting till she is 100...
Good sunshiny morning! I read the first two and knew it's going to be a great day. The first is a quote from one of the best plays/movies ever. Should be mandatory -with discussion- at least 3 times at different ages in your life. We need the press to change their response to this nightmare. I wish they'd stop covering him at all. Get on with what's really important. Make him as irrelevant as he actually is. The second...profoundly relevant. And no, no one cares what Kushner says. Speaking of alien DNA. The boy's not right. Yes, Drumpf IS the Trojan horse. That is a fact. Why he is getting away with it is beyond my ken. I thought messing with the mail and elections were a federal offense. Throw his sorry ass in jail. And let's see... who owns stock in the pharmaceuticals? Hmmmm. Emily Litella and Cheech and Chong struck a nice chord. There are times that that is my world. Mercury in retrograde ... I TOLD ya 😉 I must say, after watching the convention I am slightly more hopeful. It's like Woodstock...there's others like us. Strong women are shining. Michelle kicked his ass as only Michelle can. Deal with it, Donnie. Start packing your shit. We need to fumigate. We'll get you and your entire slimey family and enablers out of our collective consciousness. "It is what it is." What I liked best about the Susan B Anthony pardon was that when he started speaking and as soon as he said who the pardon was for, the people in the background actually laughed at him. Now, that's the kind of respect he deserves.
