Despite the ugliness and horror of yesterday, I still am celebrating the election wins of Ossoff and Warnock. I don't understand while these thugs and hooligans weren't pelted with rubber bullets, zip-tied, and carted off to Gitmo. Where the hell was Homeland Security?

On a sunny June day I was in a BLM march in New York City with a huge contingent of doctors and nurses who were protesting the police violence that they see in their ERs, and we got stopped by an enormous line of NYPD in full riot gear who "settled" us and threw flash bangs into our group for the fun of it -- we were just carrying signs, not guns or Confederate flags. And these seditionists who invaded the House and Senate get to take SELFIES with the Capital police???
Yeah, it better count as saving someone's life if you refrain from killing them.

Sadly I have just sent this message to my son "i don't think i want to go to America again. not just the racism but the insanity and what seems to be the tacit acceptance of it by otherwise decent people"
Had those protesters been black, dozens, if not hundreds would have been killed or injured - how can this dicotomy exist!!! WTF is going on in your enforcement agencies???
My worry is that I might never know if I was talking to a Trump supporter or even if I was unknowingly buying something from them and funding them. I know this might sound ridiculous but not far off 50% of your population though he was a good idea.
