Holy shit...I called up at the hospital and talked to Rose..they had just taken out the tubes from chest, throat, mouth and ass for all I know..every where...He can't talk..too weak..throat too sore. He's still bad...I somethings think I only hear what I want to hear and sort of down played what she was saying about his recovery..He's still in ICU...He's lost lots of weight..he's still very ill...Poor Rose is up to her ass in alligators with him, the kids, grand kids, and a job..This family needs serious prayers and candles..
She held the phone up to his ear so he could hear me..I told him to 'get your ass out of that hospital bed...don't make me come to Ohio and kick your ass...I don't think I'd like Ohio...they vote funny up there.' Told him he would receive a bunch of get well cards..and where I said if you want to send cards I'd send the address..well, now I'm ASKING YOU to get the address and send cards..I really think it would help...I'm going to send some books..although he's too weak to read them, at least it will give him something to look forward to..I'm sending some bubble bath for Rose as I'm sure she needs something to make her feel good too...She is upset with him because he won't take the morphine as he's worried about getting addicted to it..I told her to tell him' the tough guy routine only works for John Wayne and he ain't no John Wayne'...she said he was trying to laugh ...
ok...here's the deal...you all know by now I'm the big ole ass kicking granny...but underneath all that crap is the friend...the friend that loves her friends...and I love ole Nitty...this is just breaking my heart. So I'd really appreciate it if all of you that were so generous to me and Annie would do the same for my friend Nitwit and send the cards...not just one...but several...I need my friend back.
