ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST

Senator Ted Stevens, the nations longest-serving Republican
Senator was indicted Tuesday on seven felony counts of concealing more than a quarter of a million dollars in house renovations and gifts from a powerful oil contractor that lobbied him for government aid.

If I didn't know better I might think that singer was gay or something.

I think part of what got Ted caught was that "Votes for Sale" sign in his front yard.

Good, another one's gone! I tell you, Jackie Sue, if McCain wins this November after everything that's happened these past 7 years thanks to the Republicans, then people deserve everything that's coming to them. Every day it seems another place goes out of business or somebody loses their job and yet people making $10-$12/hour say they're voting for McCain because they're "Republican". WTF-ever.

Oh what an ass! He traded a 5000 dollar mustang for a 44000 dollar land rover...that is very fishy. All these guys do this stuff...he just pissed someone off and got caught.

You stole it. I think I still want to do a post on him.
What he's being indicted for is just the tip of the iceburg.

The song that kept going through my head was Martha and the Vandellas: "Dancing in the Streets."

Stevens is such a sleaze -- I'd love to see him spend a year or two in prison before he croaks, although I don't think it'll happen. The indictments are a nice start, though. Seven counts! You know they've got to have a ton of evidence against the guy.
