I listened to the first 2 minutes and turned it off. I think it's pseudo-history of the worst sort. The narrator continually refers to "the colonists." Really??? In 1814??? I think we hadn't been colonists for some time. Then, he shows pictures of flags from the American Revolution!!! Also, Key went out there to secure the release of one man, not a cargo hold full of people. If I get really bored, I'll listen to the rest of it and see what else he gets wrong.
Watched the whole thing. Nice uplifting story. I don't know how uch is true. I get pretty tired of this love it or leave it mindset that the gumpies have forced on the poor little people. Happy 4th!
ok, ok...i got suckered in by propaganda..but it was such a great story..sigh*...check out chamblee54's blog it gives the true story..but it's not near as sappy..ha...happy 4th ofjuly...I'm off to stuff jalapeno's for T.J.'s birthday..he and his partner Merle have a fondness for my stuffed jalapeno's, so said I would make them...what was I thinking?...jalapenos, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, sausage, bacon hot oil..oh well

Oh ho ho, I remember the history of the star spangled banner. They raped us with this back in elementary school, third grade I think.
Whitney Houston and Jimi Hendrix performed it better though :P
