HAVE I GOT A HUMP FOR YOU

Went to Dr. and my diabetes is doing so good..we're going to try(once again) to control it with diet. My A1C is 5.7 so that's the good news..The bad news is my blood pressure is 200/108..while my pulse rate was 50..ha..so he added another pill to go with the blood pressure pill I'm already taking..I'm still peeing all night long and have +4 blood in my urine..what ever the fuck that means. So he made me an apt. with Hillsboro Hospital to have a ultra sound on my kidneys and bladder. Had that done this morning. So should get results back in a few days. In the mean time I have 300 fucking cake balls to make for Little Westfest. sigh*..Going to go up there tomorrow and do some more baking and make them. Little Westfest is Thursday. Can't wait to see who Miss Westfest is going to be. Wish I could vote. Marissa A. is going to help me by making the sign that will go over the table I will be using to hand out my cake balls.
We finally got rain..maybe 2 inches all together?..Hard to tell. All I know is I wandered around in it for a while watching the lightning ...such a light show that was.
Oh and the best news?..An old friend found me on Facebook. Well actually he found Maryjo and she let me know. Kind of strange..his profile picture is of me when I was about 29. He was a really great friend back before and while I was going with Jack. We kept in touch until Mojo was born and then I don't know what happened. Think Jack used to steal his letters so I'd never get them. Anyhow..I'll keep you updated on that. Pretty cool though. enjoy your hump............day.

Dang, that's some serious blood pressure. I take high blood pressure medicine, it was just borderline high, like 160/90. I worry once people start taking medicines that they mess up the results and make the doctor prescribe the wrong thing. I think (if possible) it would be a good idea to do a 'reset' and quit taking all meds for a period of time each year and see what the body is like whilst not being "under the influence" of meds.

I'm not a doctor, but my friends dad was one when I was a kid.

Hey, those are terrific blood sugar numbers! Congrats! And isn't it nice to reconnect with old friends . . . .

"You're on your own, Laura" made me pee my pants! So did the reason Scotsmen wear kilts! That was perfect for Hump Day.

Hey... I never thought of that... sheep hearing zippers, I mean...

Blood in the urine is a common problem. Hematuria is often caused by an infection (such as UTI).

But sometimes blood in the urine is a sign of a serious problem in the urinary tract so don't fool around with it.

I've said it before, your A1C number is to die for... so envious.

My blood pressure is always high at the doctor's office. When I have them take it at the end of the appointment it is always way lower.

Putin must have daily photo ops.

Good news on the diabetes.
Love Laura being on her own and OCH we say that about the kiwis and sheep! (Kiwis=New Zealanders).

Your A1C numbers are great.

Love the kilt one. Sheep can hear zippers and can't be stump trained!!
