If you follow Reagan Street into the center of West, you find the city hall, the Justice of the Peace, and keep going and will pass Aderhold Funeral Home, the new VFW and dead ends into Tokio Road where I live...

So heartbreaking. The homes look like the ones in my neighborhood.
It will be sad to see the bulldozers come in but for safety's sake, those poor blasted buildings must come down.
Terrible devastation. But on a side note, I haven't seen any trees knocked over in any of the images or videos I have seen. I winder why that is.
I love Reagan street..shaded and the yards are always mowed, and everything is kept up..yes as hard as it is to see them razed they have to come down.
Mark if you could see the area around the blast side you'd see that all the trees were leveled..what kept more homes from getting hurt is the berm where the railroad tracks were...it's probably a slope up to 8 feet high and that sent the blast up and over..plus the bigger buildings like the school and the apt kept it from getting leveled and the rest home kept the assisted living place from being leveled.
Heartbreaking. I loved the story bout the Healing Housecoat though!!!
