Isn't it sad that we are teaching any remedial classes in college. Was a teacher - had my hands tied as to the product I was turning out. Had to make sure they had good, positive self esteem. They sure as hell didn't get it from anything they did - so they really didn't have it. Not proud of my products from latter years of my career.

That one about 9/11 versus slavery is right on. And so are those voter versus non-voter buttons. That last one is sadly true too.

The last one really hits home. I saw a curriculum and test from the early 1900s when kids had more than stupidity to study.
