I've seen so many 'Groundhog Day" jokes, I had to go google if anyone had actially totaled up how many times Phil repeated that day...based on nerd math (10,000 hours to master a skill like playing the piano, etc) they extimated he spent 35 years repeating that day.
Harold Ramis himself said he figured it was 30-40 years.
That pretty much removes that movie from 'cute rom-com' territory to 'terrifying existential Kafka-esque horror' land.

Jerri I cleaned out the vault so I would be caught up by Monday..there were soo many good ones..and I knew who you were talking about and he deserves to rub it in...I made potato soup for center today and I'm taking off for next Friday and just resting for the entire week...weather is warming up and that always scares me because that means we're going to get our ass kicked in about 3weeks...sigh* yeah, Rick I'm already judging them fuckers. you're welcome C....glad to hear from you.
