I have the stat counter thingy bob thingy ...(im so fucking technical) and I can tell someone is reading me and for how long...I can understand an hour or so...catching up with back posts....but I have some people out there that are taking it a little too serious for me...some one in Portsmouth, Ohio spent 18 hours here, Detroit Michigan, 17 hours+,Los Angles, Calif 11+hours, Australia, 9 hours, Battle Creek,Michigan 5hours+, and some one in Kuwayt Kuwait spends about 2 hours a day...hope they are on our side..So the thing I would like to know is..what the fuck are you doing? Why would anyone want to spend 18 hours reading my posts? and it's not a one time thing..this is often...so if you are anyone of these people could you shoot me an email..(it's yellowdoggranny@yahoo.com)

nit wit is right. If someone opens your blog and then walks away from the computer they will stay in your stat counter until they go elsewhere. I get a few of those too and I know I've opened blogs and then got busy with something else.
We use "Shoot me an e-mail" here in Motown, so it's not just a Texas thing. . . Now that I think about it, that's not a very good phrase to use in Motown either. . .
Sometimes when I'm surfin' blogs I will notice WAYYY later that 1 or 2 of the places I went lie tucked away at the bottom of my task bar,still "connected"..and then there are the people I just stalk. :)

I do that also, will have so many blogs open then realise quite a few hours later shit I'm gunna freak people out...heh.
I can't remember whose blog it was, when I left it on overnight because I fell asleep...whoops.
I always took it for granted that people got tired or something, left the computer on the current screen and went to sleep or something.

Hi you! I have one of those counters too - and when I look at the "referral page" it is usually one of the places where you do blog surfing for points (blog mad etc). What I've figured out is that the counter doesn't count individual page loads from your site coming up more than once but just times it beginning to end... Creeped me out to begin with but I'm pretty sure that is the thing - Loving your site darlin - I actually remember some of that stuff - and the music - well that doesn't even really have words to describe does it? In some ways I wonder if music will ever be that magic again.

Tell buddha_girl to go to sitemeter.com 'tis easy to add and I spend a while every weekend noseying on who came ,where from , what they did , why there were there.........
It actually means that they may have your site home and reload it again hours later, not necessarily reading it the entire time... I do that some times ;)
