He called me "Jackson"...If I ran a gaggle of nuns over with my blue jeep he would have said "I'm sure she has a good reason."...He was kind, gentle sweet man. He took great pride in being a good son, tried to be a good husband and was a great father. He was a good man..Websters defines the word 'good' as Satisfactory in quality or kind. Worthy, pleasing, benevolent, well-behaved(well, not always), desirable,favorable, considerate and reliable. Yes, M/Sgt. Frank Russell Roycroft was a good man. He allowed me to be who I wanted to be and always tried to steer me to the right decision. Some times I followed...some times I took a different path...He was always there waiting for me. He loved being a grandpa..but mostly....he loved me...
