Well friends, we made it through another week without the loss of limbs or our life..so we're ahead of the game.
I was sitting her earlier thinking about my age..in 5 months I'll be 69 years old. What the fuck? How did that happen? I can remember when I DID 69, now it's my age? Really?...
I really should have listened to the lyrics of all those song's I danced to, I would have been better prepared. I knew I should have asked Alice.

I know what you mean about age. I'm still amazed that I reached 65, I always thought I would, but now I amazed that I actually reached it.
I especially like the E.J.Dionne Jr. quote. I've never been able to understand the theory that by not paying a decent wage you get people to work harder. They've obviously never heard the Russian saying under the Soviet rule, "They pretend to pay me, I pretend to work!!" That was my philosophy, you get what you pay for!!

i think the ceo pay deal might be a little off. i can't imagine our ceos being so much behind your ceos. maybe they should give the parameters on what size companies were used in the survey.
