DINNER WITH THE GIRLS and Jason

Oh, man..poor Jason...I don't think he knew what hit him..Being in the middle between Jenny, Jamie and Me...He was bombarded with the fuck word...Fuck this, fuck that...get fucked...fuck you...It was pretty sad..felt bad for him. But it didn't keep us from having a ball..We ate at a buffet type Chinese Restaurant and it was fantastic..They had Mongolian stir fry and just a load of different types of Chinese food. Five different types of shrimp, pot stickers, dumplings, all kinds of Sushi, sweet and sour everything. Ribs, marinated mushrooms, all sorts of noodles and vegetables. It was incredible..It was $41 for 4 of us..Jason had 2 refills, Jenny and Jamie had 1 refill each..They split 2 plates of Sushi and each of us had a plate of deserts..Little peti-fours cakes, cream puffs, ice cream, puddings, etc. We ate and laughed and laughed and ate..We were noisy and disruptive and didn't give a fuck..and we didn't get throw out..But next time we go there I bet they don't sit us dead center, bet they stick us over in a corner all by our lonesome..ha. We spent some time at Jenny's and Jason's apt. and played with LuLu the Maltese puppy, who thinks she is a pit bull dog...She's bored from being in her little crib cage all day till they come home from work and she has more energy than 7 dogs.

She loves to play fetch..once you pry the toy out of her teeth and throw it..but she wants you to fight for it first. I took her a little elephant toy and she really likes it..except when the butt is up..for some reason she won't go near it if it lands on it's face and it's butt is sticking out...If it lands on it's back she'll grab it and play with it..pretty funny..

I am still in shock over the Golf game..I don't give 2 shits about golf, but when Tiger Woods plays, it's a different story..and this week end was Golf Gold..Wow..what can you say .?...He's unbelievable..

Now I'm fixing to go watch the last Basketball playoff game..I think it's going to be the last because I think Boston is going to cream the Lakers ass, or at least I hope they do...

I got a roll of film out and these are some pictures of Jamie with a Dublin Dr Pepper, Miss Henrietta's memorial party and some of Inky, Anessa and Devin in his 8th grade graduation robe. He'll be a freshman next year. Also pictures of my new book cases..and Anessa with Willie..

Gotta run, want to watch the Lakers get their butts kicked...Sorry all you Calif. readers...but I have to go with the Celtics..I like Boston, it's the only place where people say Fuck more than I do..what's not to like..

CANADIANS, GRANDDAUGHTER AND WALMART, oh my!

Three days off ......whee!...Today is the last of my three days off...and lots have happened(but not my laundry)..Yesterday I got a 'play it forward' form Rox in the frozen north of Canada...I had forgotten she was sending it and when I opened my little mail box I thought 'what the fuck?'...Then I opened it up and saw who it was from...There was a white poncho with Canada all over it in red, a scarf with Canada all over it, a small candle(that I have already lit and used up)a CD of Rox's favorite Canadian singers like Rose Cousins, Matt Mays, Matt Andersen, Jann Arden, Chantal Kreviazuk, and Wide Mouth Mason(who couldn't love someone named Wide Mouth?)..I've been so busy I haven't had time to play it, so will do it Sat. and Sun. morning before I go to work in place of my Gregorian Chants..She said if I didn't like it, it doubles as a coaster... There was some gum and a candy bar along with an assortment of maple leaves and little Canadian flags..Since I couldn't eat the candy bar I gave it to Babs who gave it a thumbs up..I will play this forward by asking 3 people to send me their address and I will send them a play it forward ....So thank you very much Rox for my little Canadian Care Package..
Babs and I went to Pizza House for lunch and it doesn't matter if I order pizza or Cheeseburger or Chicken Casadia, mine comes 30 minutes after Babs meal..I have come to the conclusion that the cook is the wife of some one I got drunk and fucked 20 years ago..because no matter what I order...Babs is half way through eating her meal before mine gets there..We had just walked in and the skies opened up and the rains came..Thunder, lightning and lots of rain. We ate and scurried back home and then I went to library and found out that Nancy had already ordered the 3rd Dexter book for me...How cool is that?...Also got Small Favor by Jim Butcher, T is for Trespass by Sue Grafton, Sea Change by Robert B. Parker, The Killing Ground by Jack Higgins, Lost Souls by Lisa Jackson, Hollywood Crows by Joseph Wambaugh, The Genius by Jesse Kellerman, and Santa Fe Dead by Stuart Woods...hot dang..now that I have more hours free I will be able to catch up on my reading...Life is good..
Then to top if off Jamie called and wanted to come visit, so I knew something was up...and yes, something was up..She and Harrison got married on her last trip to Virginia..sigh*...Now don't get me wrong, I like Harrison but I still think they are too young and well, fuck...she's got so much time ahead of her to be tied down with a husband..oh well, no one asked me and as hard headed and stubborn as Jamie is, it wouldn't matter anyhow..She has a mind of her own..He did call Thom and ask for her hand in marriage and got her a beautiful ring..She will be moving down to Norfolk in July and will have a real wedding in May of '09..While she was here we spent half the night looking at invitations for her bridal shower, and cakes..She found the perfect invitations...it says :"Bling Bling, she got her ring"....we both thought that was hysterical..She copied and printed out 3 different cakes in the hopes that she can show it to the cake master here in West and she can duplicate it..She stayed til almost one am..it was really great, we laughed and had a great time and since she hadn't eaten we went to Pizza House for dinner...Since I had just been there I just had an order of chicken wings 12 for $5.99, hot damn, they were good...some of the best chicken wings I have ever eaten..I shared them with Jamie, and then she had a spinach pizza and for once...I got mine first...ha..
Then today Babs and I went to Belmead to the House of Satan. We went to H. E. B. first, which is a grocery store like ...Piggly Wiggly, or Krogers, or what ever you have locally...I got a shit load of fish, salmon, perch and tilapia. Since Babs was already starting to have a melt down and needed a cigarette, she went out side and waited ...I found some books on sale...yes, I know what your thinking...I need more books like I need bigger tits, but what can I tell you..I have an addiction..I got The Collected Short Plays of Thornton Wilder Volume II for .99cents, Possessed(about Prince)by Alex Hahn for $2. 99, The Last Light of The Sun by Guy Gavrill Kay(about the Saxons and Celtics) for $2.99, and Judgement Calls by Alafair Burke for $3.99(daughter of my favorite author James Lee Burke)...so I did good.. Then we went to the House of Satan and by the time we got out of there Babs was ready to beat either me or anyone in particular to a bloody-pulp with my frozen salmon. We were there for almost 3 hours and she was freaking out..I had entered some sort of zen zone and kept singing 'sugar in the morning, sugar in the evening, sugar at supper time, so be my little sugar and love me all the time..' and doing a little kick dance...I got 2 months worth of my diabetes meds and got my film out..I got a ton of fresh vegetables came home and made gazpacho..cuces, celery, radish, bell peppers, tomatoes, black and green olives, red onions, carrots, tomato juice and some Tabasco sauce. I just had a bowl for dinner and it kicked ass..I thought about doing the laundry..there is only 2 loads, but after thinking about it for about 39 seconds I said fuckit and took a nap..naps are good...except when fucking Margaret knocks on the door and wakes me up....I swear to Goddess, they will never find her body..I am posting a picture of the living room, with my new recliner, my new curtains and new floor lamp..and Annie who is enjoying it all..The front yard with my flowers in bloom and the beginning of the potted veggies, Me with my then new hair cut(way too short..I look like a dutch tourist), Anessa and Inky(freshly shaved and hair dyed to match mine),My mother's day display with the hot undies, Me and Inky in our matching haircuts and dye job..(we use the exact same color dye, cracked me up) we are at our station...ready to ...fuck around...Jackiesue's tits nestled in the Late Show online Tshirt and the Obama stickers, my Buddha picture on the couch, it is now in my bedroom, where it looks fantastic on the wall.. Inky before he shaved and dyed his hair..and last but not least...my F U letters on the glass door to my apartment. Which evidently ...doesn't keep a mother fucking one of them away..(Jamie thought the N fell off and I had put fun on the door,) when I told her no it stood for Fuck You, she said "GRANDMA..."...which is what she said when I told her about Tom and the blow-job story..She said she says the word schmuck all the time and every time she says it thinks of me..ha. I am such a great influence on her. She looked at all the pictures on my computer and couldn't get over how different I looked in each picture...yup, and have a personality to match each look...So that's about all...I rearranged the furniture in my bedroom and bought a new fan to put in the window so I can turn ac off and use the evening air to keep cool...it's been humid during the day, but the evenings are still cool..so to keep from using the ac all the time, I will give the neighbors a cheap thrill by being able to peek in my window while I sleep.
Now I need to pick 3 people to send a play it forward package too..and to make it fair..I'm going to shut my eyes and pick 3...and they are........oh wow, that was fun...The first one was Camels Back and Forth..yea, my friend Allan..the second one was Kali and the third one was Jan from the Poodle and Dog blog..so send me your address's and I will send you a 'play it forward' gift from West, Texas....Might take me a couple of weeks, I get distracted alot...fuckme I'll never shop again.

Yup! This is my 1,00th post..Holy Shit, who wouldathunkit..I was going to do something profound, but I couldn't think of anything profound..so decided to do a Jackisue post..First of all Jackiesue did some yard work, and cleaned the house. I moved my gigantic tomato plants off the porch to the sidewalk so they would get more direct sun..they both are huge but so far..no 'maters...
Jackiesue went to the library this afternoon and worked from 3-7pm..It rained huge gifrantic rain drops..I had a great time showing a little girl in the second grade a bunch of new books to read..I convinced her to check out Black Beauty..and her little sister got a book on ballerina's..Found a book at the Waco Library about managing campgrounds for a patron..and shelved a bunch of books..Went home and my granddaughter Jenny came over for dinner..I made chicken fried steak, baked potatoes, gazpacho, and garlic bread..It was really good...nice to have meat instead of chicken and turkey for a change..Then she read my post on the movie The Thing From Outer Space..she thought it was pretty funny...and when I tried to explain to her the Ask the Goddess, I got a lot of eye rolling and head shaking..Then we sat down and went through 3 of the latest albums I had just put together...she would look at pictures of me where I was under 25 years old and weighed less than 100lbs..and then look at me now..and shake her head and roll her eyes..ha..she does that alot..We had a terrific time..she graduates from dental tech school this August and I am so proud of her..Jamie and her boyfriend Harrison are both working at M&M Mars in Waco...They will be making pretty good money, but I am still hoping that Jamie will be going back to school...Jenny will probably be going to Temple for her first job as there is not a bunch of work for her in Waco....but Temple is only 30-40 minutes away so that's ok...
The other great thing that happened today is I checked out 9 new books..by two authors..Daniel Silva and Bentley Little..
Hmmm, what else..oh yeah....Sooner's home town got hit by a bolt of lightning and blew up 2 80,000 gallon oil tanks...check out his blog for the visuals..
Well...that's all folks..pretty boring for my 1,00 post...but I think I may be burnt out..I looked back and some of my posts and half of the people that read me and I read them..are not even blogging any more..and the ones that are left..have slowed down on their posting and reading of my blog...I think lots of people are finding a life outside of the blogging world..and maybe I am too...I know that something I used to love to do..is starting to be like a job..I think the Goddess is going to take a extended vacation ..or maybe go back to Valhalla and shoot some pool, drink some beer and raise some hell in Hel...and maybe Jackiesue is going to take a vacation for a while too..Who knows..I may be back tomorrow with a vengence..and maybe not..only the Shadow knows for sure...

Hotdang....it's raining in Texas..A LOT of rain in Texas
It is either dry ........or gully washers...I like gully washers...I had some running around today then on the way back was going to stop by the library and check in and check out some books...Since it was dark and raining like a sonsabitch I had the lights on...yup, you're right..forgot to turn them off...do all my running around..grocery, $1 store, video store, drug store, then the library....While I was in library one of the ladies in there said.."You know you left your lights on?"...argh fuck...so of course when I go to leave..truck won't start...had to call Patsy from Community Grocery to come give me a jump...she sent her son-in-law instead.
So by the time I got home I was soaked to my skin as it was really coming down out there..and still is for that matter...But we need the rain..badly..or goodly..
Tomorrow is Jamie's 18th birthday...I am going to try and round her up so I can go take her birthday gift and see her new apartment. But hate to call her..when I call there's some rap song that plays for about 3 minutes and I ususally say fuckit and hang up...hope she will see it's me and call back...
I have had to cut back on my laps with Margaret..the new cholesterol medicine gives me leg cramps really bad and I already have leg cramps and with the walking it is making me miserable..up all flapping night long about 3 nights in a row..so when she came by Saturday I told her I would only be doing it for 5 days a week and 3 laps at a time and explained why...I swear when she walked off she snickered and made a series of arm pumpings...old bitch..
This is a absolutely nothing of a post..too lazy to actually do a real post and not a thing going on in my life now to post about ..so this is as good as it gets..
Hopefully I will have a better post tomorrow..found some amusing things in the DAM news...so...signing off for now...
